Marc and Veda (Marc's mum) will be car shopping all day today. Veda totalled her car a few weeks ago when she was coming up to visit us for. Luckily, no one was injured and other than standing by the side of the road until 1 am and being a bit shaken up, she escaped unharmed. The car did not do quite so well. The insurance company wrote the car off within 4 days. With the insurance cheque in hand, she is off to the used car warehouses in the area and with any luck, she will return with a new car (well, new to her anyway). Say a prayer to the used car gods and wish them luck!
